They say the devil has all the good tunes, but that's not strictly true....here are a few he missed!

(And there are more on the Holiday Page)

"The God of Israel"

For strings, piano and bells.

All Hail the Power

"All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name"--there are several versions of it. This one is scored for oboe and clarinet, along with strings & harp.

Wondrous Love

I got a little bit daring with this one...but not TOO much so, I think.....

Dona Nobis Pacem

Or, "Grant us Peace" which is all the words this one has. It's a round, or I guess they call it a canon if it's religious;)

He Leadeth Me

For piano, flute, strings and chimes.

Trust and Obey

"...for there's no other way/To be happy in Jesus/but to trust and obey." Flute, piano, bells and strings.

The Garden Hymn

Lovely old American folk hymn. "The Lord into his garden comes/The spices yield a rich perfume/The lilies grow and thrive/the lilies grow and thrive".....

Word of God Across the Ages

Also known as "Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken" with melody by Franz Josef Haydn.

How Firm a Foundation

How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord....

Praise to the Lord, The Almighty

Yes, a creation hymn...for piano and strings and chimes.....

For the Beauty of the Earth

Yet another creation hymn! Piano, strings, guitar. Check it out, please.

Fairest Lord Jesus

An old favorite, hope I've done it justice! Flute, harp, strings.

Blessed Assurance

For flute, clarinet, harp and strings.

Morning Has Broken

"Morning has broken, like the first morning, blackbird has spoken, like the first bird"...another creational hymn....

Amazing Grace

Just had to take a crack at this one; well, everyone loves "Amazing Grace" including myself, what?

This is My Father's World

Very pretty one celebrating the beauties of creation....

Balm in Gilead

An old black spiritual...a peaceful and soothing piece....

All Creatures of Our God and King

I seem to gravitate to the ones extolling the glory of creation, here's another....

Oh How I Love Jesus

My first hymn arrangement, originally written for voice....

Love Divine

This lovely old Welsh tune has had several hymn texts put to it, but this one I think is my favorite...not that I don't like the others....

My Shepherd

My favorite, I think...a beautiful setting of Psalm 23, originally entitled "Resignation". Not so well known as some of the others, but it certainly deserves to be.

Be Thou My Vision

Another really nice one, the tune of Irish origin. I've attempted to make a "Celtic harp" sound for it.

Love Lifted Me

And finally...."When nothing else could help, Love lifted me!"

Stay tuned, I'm sure there will be more later on......
